On this Day of
Tribute
Seating began in the
main theatre with the heavenly music of the live harp by Ellie
Choate.
The ceremony began with an opening prayer and personal
tribute by Pastor Sam Hodson followed by a touching eulogy
and personal tribute delivered by Linda Gray.
Danny Durant and Jean Paul Vignon then performed a duet, "La
Vie en Rose". Speakers each presented personal tributes with
loving stories and their memories shared with Lilyan:

Robert Easton, Nancy Malone
A special tribute was delivered from Paris,
France by Jacqueline Bisset and then Jean Paul Vignon sang " I Wish You
Love" in French.
Mark
Boals sang "Ave Maria" followed by a final prayer and personal tribute
delivered by Chaplain Margaret Burdge. Mark Boals and Ellie
Choate then performed a duet, "The Lords Prayer".
Sally Stringer
delivered a personal tribute with a special story and a letter. Sally
introduced a multi media presentation which included clips, a slideshow
and the Premier "Celebration of Life" .
The theatre was filled with love and support in
celebration of Lilyan's life and accomplishments. The Tribute was followed by a reception in the DGA Atrium.
We have received 100's of emails from her
friends, students, colleagues and family members and they continue to come
in.
Special thanks to all those who helped make this
memorial program possible and thank you to all in attendance and all present in
thought on this day.
